A mysterious brown bottle, and a label that is very light on detail, beyond “medium dry still cider”. It’s a cloudy, golden, colour, and although it’s advertised as still, there are a few tiny bubbles in the glass.
The nose is fruity and fresh, and the same description applies to the flavour. It’s a refreshing, clean taste with some nice bittersharp complexity in the form of subtle dryness and just the right amount of a tangy sharp kick which seems to cut through the abundance of tannins to give the whole thing a nice balance.
A cider that is refreshing and mellow, yet has a pleasing amount of complexity.
